To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, we have included accurate and eloquent translations in English and Urdu.<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 235 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَلَا تَعۡزِمُواْ عُقۡدَةَ ٱلنِّكَاحِ حَتَّىٰ يَبۡلُغَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ أَجَلَهُۥۚ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِيٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡ فَٱحۡذَرُوهُۚ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٞ ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 235 (English Translation): “ And do not determine to undertake a marriage contract until the decreed period reaches its end. And know that Allāh knows what is within yourselves, so beware of Him. And know that Allāh is Forgiving and Forbearing. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 235 (Urdu Translation): “ اور عقد نکاح جب تک کہ عدت ختم نہ ہوجائے پختہ نہ کرو، جان رکھو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کو تمہارے دلوں کی باتوں کا بھی علم ہے، تم اس سے خوف کھاتے رہا کرو اور یہ بھی جان رکھو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ بخشش اور علم واﻻ ہے۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC).
